Hiring: Assistant Controller

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented and eager Assistant Controller.

You might have a few years of experience or you are currently finishing your studies. What we are looking for is rather the attitude and willingness to learn than excel wizardness or deep learning in SAP. That said, excel skills can naturally be seen as an absolute asset. (Who wouldn’t love excel?)

We offer you a platform for both professional and personal growth. You’ll mainly be working with our Business team, including our admin team and business operations: Business leads, Client leads and Account managers. You’d be working with a wide variety of different tasks, all with one common goal: to meet our business targets and enhance our internal and external business performance and client experience. 

You have a key role in controlling our business processes, developing our tools and making analyses. A big part of your role is to create and develop reporting to different stakeholders. We strongly believe that we can offer you the surroundings, experiences and growth path which are hard to match nowhere else.

 

Examples of different tasks you’d be working on:

  • Supporting client teams in various financial questions and concerns

  • Being involved in budgeting and forecasting

  • Improving client reporting and reporting tools

  • Bringing finance knowhow and insights to ongoing projects and new business opportunities

  • Opening new projects and maintaining them in our project management tools 

  • Preparing and sending sales invoices

  • Participating in the monthly closing procedures

  • Various other tasks relating to business controlling and accounting

 

Useful skills and mindset:

  • Fluent English and Finnish is a must

  • Analytical skills and ability to see cause and consequences of actions

  • Ability to express your opinions and give constructive feedback

  • Technical system experience (BI and other business tools) and/or willingness to learn

  • Understanding of bookkeeping and financial operations

  • An overall hungry attitude towards learning and developing 

  • A can-do attitude 

  • Excel, naturally

 

Salary range is 2.000-3.000 € depending on your educational background and work experience.
