When we shout, "Susijengi!", you shout, "Au!"
hasan & partners had the honor to design new uniforms for the National Basketball Team of Finland, Susijengi. The set of three uniforms made their debut at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
The design honors the Northern heritage with the looped square, or hannunvaakuna, which is believed to protect against bad luck and evil spirits. The looped square is paired with a typeface that is specially customized for each player.
The design was crafted by Mikko Juhola, who also facelifted the Susijengi’s and Finnish Basketball Association’s logos in 2017.
